I have always played dark souls offline since I only pirate games.When I first tried dark souls 1 I couldnt even get 10% of the way through upper undeadburg but I kept trying and trying, slowly learning the enemies moves and training my reaction times, I read beginners guides and did research and eventually I made it to the taurus demon and once again kept dying over and over until eventually it just clicked. Making an easy mode in a souls like would completely ruin any sense of accomplishment.
